I lived and breathed journalism from the time I was 14 years old. I gravitated toward the topics that no one wanted to write about because I enjoyed the challenge and didn’t care what people thought of me. I left journalism last year because I wanted to make sure that I could choose when and how I left newspapers. Five months later, I have realized that the curiosity and quest for answers has served me well in graduate school.
I am still a journalist.
