We are journalists. We are proud of what we do. We are tired of bad press about the press. We are trying to be "team players." We are terrified of more layoffs and paycuts. We would like to produce quality work without 'obamasux99' posting some non-sequitur rant at the end of it. We complain because we want things to be better. We would like some respect, plz. We are journalists.

It started in high school. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to be a cop or a writer. I joined the military and arrested bad guys. Now I give them a voice and remind readers and reporters they are guilty until proven innocent. I keep politicians honest, I fight for children who don’t have a voice, I investigate the truth. I work all day, night and weekend and I do it because it matters. It matters regardless of the people who call us “the media.” Regardless of those who blame us for their mistakes. I do it because I want my children to live in a better world. I do it because so few have the courage. I am an Editor, a former Fox News Radio host and an investigative journalist. And I do this for you, even if you hate me for it.
