We are journalists. We are proud of what we do. We are tired of bad press about the press. We are trying to be "team players." We are terrified of more layoffs and paycuts. We would like to produce quality work without 'obamasux99' posting some non-sequitur rant at the end of it. We complain because we want things to be better. We would like some respect, plz. We are journalists.
I am a photojournalism student. I worry about what will be next. Do I have a future and will it be there when I step outside college doors into the real world. I love photojournalism. It made me see the world what it is truly is and be in places that people could only imagine. Photography help me become a better person and I learned to not be afraid. We deserve more what we get paid to do. Be there when the actions happens and carry a crap ton of photography gear. I don’t like working 9-5 p.m. and my cubicle is the world.
